Our featured guest, Dr. James Chin Kyung Kim, is the Founder and President of Yanbian University of Science & Technology (YUST) in China and Pyongyang University of Science & Technology (PUST) in North Korea. These universities provide a western education, taught by followers of Christ.

Dr. Kim has invited the C.S. Lewis Institute to partner with these two universities to help make sure the faculty and staff have the spiritual resources they need to continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. Through this partnership, the C.S. Lewis Institute will provide discipleship resources and personnel for training purposes.

Dr. Kim says: “we have more than 500 alumni in Beijing; 500 in Shanghai…and many more in other parts of Asia. These brothers and sisters are begging me for someone to disciple them. I’m pleased that Danny (Director, C.S. Lewis Institute - Asia Initiative) is coming later this year to help me begin this discipleship process.”

Currently, both our Heart and Mind Discipleship program and Journey: Foundations for Discipleship and Mission program are being used in an easily accessible iBook format at these locations.

The Institute has grown from a local to a national, and now a global ministry! The Lord has given us a call to discipleship and is opening new doors. We are doing everything we can to reach people with the express purpose of helping them become more mature disciples of Jesus.
