The C.S. Lewis Institute in Belfast is devoted to developing disciples who can articulate, defend, share and live faith in Christ in public and personal life; we are an extension of the C.S. Lewis Institute in Washington D.C., which began in 1976 and stresses discipleship of mind and the heart. The Institute works in partnership with local churches and ministries to help believers glorify God by becoming mature disciples of Jesus Christ who impact the spheres of influence to which God has called them. The C.S. Lewis Institute was established in Belfast in 2016 and continues to seek like-minded and like-hearted men and women to join the Fellows Programme in the Belfast area. Whilst based in Belfast, applications are welcome from across Northern Ireland. Stuart Horner is the City Director in Belfast, lawyer and chartered tax adviser by profession. A Fellow of the inaugural Belfast CSLI Fellows Programme in 2016, Stuart now acts as City Director for CSLI Belfast, as well as running his own will writing and estate planning business. Stuart is married to Laura. They have 2 girls and live in Carrickfergus.
Royce O. Johnson, II is the Founding Director of CSLI-Belfast, and is a retired ophthalmologist, businessman, lecturer, and former missionary to France. Most recently, Royce has been teaching a series on the life of C.S. Lewis. Royce’s wife, Susan, works alongside him in the Fellows programme.
