Engage 2019 Apologetics Conference

What do you want? What do you long for? What do you love? If human beings are defined primarily by what they love, apologists make a serious mistake if they overlook the appeal that competing worldviews and visions of the Good Life have to the human heart. Too often we appeal only to the mind, arguing that Christianity is plausible. Cultural apologetics broadens that appeal to the whole person (heart and imagination as well as the mind) so that people might find Christianity not only believable but desirable.

Join us as we explore the intersection of Christianity and culture to discover new ways to think about people, their questions, and our message. In the process we will learn practical ways to help ordinary Christians do the extraordinary work of reaching the present age and the whole person – heart, mind, and imagination.

Cameron McAllister is an Itinerant Speaker at RZIM. He is the host of the Vital Signs podcast, a weekly podcast exploring signs of life in today’s culture, and the co-host (with Nathan Rittenhouse) of Thinking Out Loud, a podcast that considers current events and Christian hope. Cameron is also a staff writer with Christ and Pop Culture, where he explores the intersection of Christianity and popular culture. His film and television reviews have appeared in Christianity Today and Think Christian. He holds a degree in Philosophy and Religion from Toccoa Falls College and an MA in cultural apologetics from Houston Baptist University.
