Northeast Ohio Pastors Network

Equipping Seminars: Pastors spend much of their time giving: time, knowledge, counsel, and emotional energy to those in need. Very little time is given to them ensuring they are being filled by the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Equipping Seminars will focus on refreshment, discipleship training and leadership development.

Refreshment C.S. Lewis Institute-NEOH hosts seminars that give pastors an opportunity to simply rejoice in the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. The purpose of these events is solely to refresh these pastors and give them opportunity to build unity and relationships with other area pastors for encouragement and accountability.

Discipleship Training Discipleship Training We are commanded by Christ to “make disciples of all nations…” In that command is the whole vision of the church and those who are leading it. However, the organizational demands take time, the vision of disciple-making becomes clouded and could even be relegated as a task reserved for those with that giftedness. It is only when disciple-making is restored to the position that Christ gave it that the church will once again be effective and energetic in ministry to the communities that these individuals are placed. Pastors will be challenged to engage discipleship biblically in these seminars and will be given tools to address specific disciplemaking needs.

Leadership Development Pastors are often expected to operate as CEOs of a small business, faced with leading a board, a staff and a group of people who anxiously await their say on movement. In these seminars, pastors will hear from established and successful leaders from the Christian business community, organizations and churches.

Resource Library Pastors need to have a place where they can immerse themselves in and meditate on the Word of God. They need to be fed so they can feed others. The office at the church cannot be that place all the time. CSLI NEOH has made our Fellows Library upstairs a quiet place for pastors to engage in quiet moments of study and prayer without interruption.
