Statement of Faith

In the context of classical orthodoxy:

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in a loving unity of three equally divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whom the believer is regenerated and indwelt. The Holy Spirit empowers God's people to live holy lives and to serve and glorify Christ in the world.

We believe the Bible is the word of God written, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts and thus infallible and authoritative in all that it teaches.

We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God, but through the sin of Adam, are now sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, under His wrath, and that salvation is by grace alone through trusting in Christ alone.

We believe that the true church on earth is comprised of all those who have been regenerated and justified by God's grace. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.

We believe that all those who have been saved by God's grace are called to glorify Him through a life of grateful, loving, costly obedience and humble service to others.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to eternal life and the lost to damnation.
