J. Timothy Bradley is Senior Director of ERP Applications for SRA International and former Vice President of Federal
ERP Applications for Oracle Corporation.  He is a former Year I and Year II C. S. Lewis Fellow and serves as a men's mentor for the Institute's Young Professional Fellows.  Tim and his wife June have five children and four grandchildren and attend Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethesda.

William R. Deven is retired from 20 years as Vice President of Finance and Administration with The Ryland Group and 12 years as Executive Vice President for Search Ministries. Bill and his wife Vera have four children and eight grandchildren and attend Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church, Catonsville, Maryland.

Elizabeth Fitch, Esq. (Secretary) practiced law with Steptoe & Johnson and Ross, Dixon & Bell in Washington, D.C. from 1980 to 1998. She is President of Byrd Foods, Inc. and has served for several years as a mentor in the Institute's Fellows Program, in addition to leading various retreats, seminars and workshops in the area of personal growth. She and her husband Wray have three children and attend McLean Bible Church.

Cherie Harder has served as President of The Trinity Forum, a Christ-centered leadership academy since March 2008. Prior to that, Ms. Harder served in the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Policy and Projects for First Lady Laura Bush. She holds an Honors B.A. in government from Harvard University and a post-graduate diploma in literature from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where she was a Rotary Scholar.

James R. Hiskey is a founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute along with Dr. James Houston. Jim has been a golf pro since 1958, a former P.G.A. Tour player and instructor, and founder and Senior Editor of the Links Letter. He and his wife Lorraine live in Annapolis, Maryland and have three children and eight grandchildren.

Kerry Knott became our new President on May 1, 2010 and serves as an ex officio member of the Board. Kerry served as Chairman of the Board of the C.S. Lewis Institute for the past 7 years, and was in the first CSLI Fellows class in 1999. Kerry has a long history of senior level government and corporate experience, working as Chief of Staff in Congress and as a senior executive at Comcast and Microsoft. He is also President of Knott Research and Communications, a private consulting firm in Arlington, Virginia. Kerry is a 1982 graduate of Auburn University. Kerry and his wife Michelle and three children live in Arlington and attend Little Falls Presbyterian Church.

Robin King recently headed Medicare Communications at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He has completed Year I and II of the C .S. Lewis Institute Fellows program and currently serves as Teaching Director for Community Bible Study in Washington, D.C. He also serves as an elder and adult education teacher at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Maryland, where he and wife Carol, daughter Emily and son Peter worship.

Steven J. Law is General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of the United States Chamber of Commerce. He is responsible for ensuring the Chamber's compliance with all applicable laws, and for overseeing the National Chamber Litigation Center. He has served as Deputy Secretary of Labor, Executive Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell. Steven has a passion for worship and for the power of the gospel to transform culture. He and his wife Elizabeth attend The Falls Church along with their two children, Charlotte and John James.

Jeffrey A. Lindeman, Ph.D., Esq. is the founding member of J.A. Lindeman & Co. PLLC, a patent law firm. With his background in chemistry, Jeff’s practice has a focus in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Jeff is also an adjunct professor at American university's Washington College of Law. Jeff has completed Years 1 and 2 of the Fellows Program and has served as a mentor to Year 1 Fellows. Jeff, his wife Mona, and their son Matthew live in Mclean, VA and attend The Falls Church.

Arthur W. Lindsley, Ph.D is Senior Fellow at the C.S. Lewis Institute. He came to the Institute in 1987 as Director and Scholar in Residence and previously served as Director of Educational Ministries of the Ligonier Valley Study Center and Staff Specialist with Coalition for Christian Outreach, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Art, his wife Connie, and their two boys Trey and Jonathan make their home in Arlington, Virginia and are members of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Maryland.

Chris T. Morris (Chairman) is the Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Reporting for Freddie Mac, a mortgage investment company headquartered in McLean, Virginia. Formerly he was an investment banker, private equity investor and business development professional. Chris and his wife Sheila and their two children live in Vienna, Virginia and attend McLean Bible Church.

Marlise Streitmatter is the Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Transportation, serving the Secretary of Transporation by providing policy direction and managing the day-to-day operations of the Department. Marlise is a former Year I and Year II C. S. Lewis Fellow. She worships at Christ the King in Alexandria, Virginia.


Susan O'Loughlin Ward
is a former health policy consultant. She served as Deputy Administrator of the Washington State Health Care Authority and as Director of Quality for the Washington State Hospital Association. Susan has completed Years 1 and 2 of the Fellows Program and serves as a mentor for Year 1 Fellows. She and her husband, Scott, and their two daughters worship at The Falls Church and live in Vienna.
