Saturday Conference — C.S. Lewis: The Man, His Method and The Message
C.S. Lewis’s life story includes a number of fascinating twists and turns that helped shape him into one of the most profound Christian thinkers and writers of our time. His books and essays address a number of crucial topics such as the importance of truth, the relationship between faith and reason, the place of the imagination in understanding and communicating our faith, the relevance of Jesus Christ for all times, and the human pursuit of satisfaction beyond this world. Plan now to attend this conference where we will explore these topics as addressed by Lewis so that we might be better witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ in our day.
This conference, with speakers Dr. Don Williams, Dr. Stuart McAllister, and Bill Smith, will feature large-group sessions from all three speakers as well as breakout sessions and a Q&A panel.
Dr. Don Williams is an esteemed professor of English, author, speaker and noted Lewis scholar. Dr. Williams will address the importance of imagination in Lewis's thought and the role of joy in Christian apologetics.
Dr. Stuart McAllister is a respected apologist and frequent speaker in churches, universities, and other forums all over the globe. Dr. McAllister will examine Lewis's idea of the reasonableness of Christianity and his expression of the gospel in his writings.
Bill Smith is a valued teacher, mentor, and director. Bill will serve a conference host and share insights from the conversion of C.S. Lewis.
