CSLI Study Program in Israel

The C.S. Lewis Institute and Bible World Seminars invite you to join us for a 14-day study program in Israel. In this study program, the textbook is the Bible and the classroom is the Holy Land. This is a unique opportunity to study the Bible on location in Israel. We will experience the culture, archaeology, history, and geography of the Scripture through extensive field trips, fascinating walks, and thorough exploration of Biblical sites. A comprehensive syllabus containing diagrams, maps, and archaeological reconstructions will enhance classroom and field trip lectures.

Our teacher will be Dr. Jim Martin, who has been living, studying, and teaching in Israel since 1982 after serving four years in the pastorate. His graduate studies in Jerusalem under Israeli scholars, concentrated on the history, geography and archaeology of the Bible. Dr. Martin earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and is ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Since the establishment of Bible World Seminars in 1989, he has had opportunity to teach several thousands of participants from numerous seminaries, colleges, churches, and Christian organizations.
