Cultivating Intimacy with God & Others

OCTOBER 17-18, 2008

BAY AREA COMMUNITY CHURCH
884 Chesterfield Road
Annapolis, MD 21401

Living a life of love in a world of sin and selfishness; this is the calling of every follower of Jesus Christ. It is also our greatest challenge. This conference will help you better meet that challenge. You will:

  • Gain a clear understanding of what it really means to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself
  • Receive practical teaching on how to actually love this way
  • Discover how to love yourself correctly
  • Find valuable resources to help you grow in love

Lectures

  • Loving God Completely considers the steadfast love of God for us and the wholehearted love He asks of us in response.
  • Loving Ourselves Correctly helps us grasp our new identity in Christ and how to love ourselves for God’s sake, avoiding the narcissism of contemporary culture.
  • Loving Others Compassionately helps us express our love for God through acts of love and service to others.
  • Growing in Love with God explores what it means to enjoy God, to trust in Him, and to cultivate a growing intimacy with Him.
