With Dr. Carl S. Trueman October 28, 2021 PAST EVENT:     Drawing from his landmark book, The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism and the Road to Sexual Revolution, Dr. Trueman will share how philosophies and worldviews developed over the past 300 years shape our current cultural confusion and conflict. What are we to do as Christians in a culture that is changing constantly and becoming more hostile to traditional Judeo-Christian values? A first step would be to get a better handle on how we got to this point in the first place. Renowned historian and cultural commentator Dr. Carl Trueman will show us how today’s ideas on gender, sexuality, history and cancel culture are not new, but rather have been percolating for years. We’ll then talk about approaches to living out our Christian faith in the midst of a chaotic world. A Question and Answer session will follow.
