CSLI-Toronto presents How to Have Faith Conversations with Dr. Randy Newman In this two-day seminar, we will explore the topic How to Have Faith Conversations with Dr. Randy Newman. Location: Richmond Hill Christian Community Church, Sanctuary 2 | 9670 Bayview Ave., Richmond Hill, Ontario Day 1: Friday, May 3, 2024 | 7:30-9:30pm ET Randy Newman has thought deeply on this topic and has published several books on ways to hone your skills toward effective apologetics. His primary emphasis is learning how to share through the use of questions and winsome conversation. So, if you feel unequipped to engage in faith conversations with non-Christians, or you just want to learn more about apologetics in a modern context, this is a great opportunity for you. Day 2: Saturday, May 4, 2024 | 9:00 – 11:00am ET Commending the Faith: Conversational Apologetics – We crave good conversations. But they’re getting harder to have in our polarized, antagonistic culture. And conversations about faith pose unique and difficult challenges. This lecture and workshop can help us take steps to engage people in the most important conversations they can ever have.

Randy Newman
Randy Newman (1956-2024) was the Senior Fellow for Apologetics and Evangelism at the C.S. Lewis Institute. He taught at several evangelical seminaries. After serving for over 30 years with Campus Crusade for Christ, he established Connection Points, a ministry to help Christians engage people’s hearts the way Jesus did. He has written seven books, Questioning Evangelism, Corner Conversations, Bringing the Gospel Home, Engaging with Jewish People, Unlikely Converts: Improbable Stories of Faith and What They Teach Us About Evangelism, Mere Evangelism. and his most recent, Questioning Faith: Indirect Journeys of Belief through Terrains of Doubt. Randy has also written numerous articles about evangelism and other ways our lives intertwine with God’s creation. He earned his MDiv and PhD in Intercultural Studies from Trinity International University. Randy went home to be with the Lord in May 2024.
