Jennifer Powell McNutt
Jennifer Powell McNutt is the Franklin S. Dyrness Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies and Professor of Theology and History of Christianity at Wheaton College's Litfin Divinity School. Dr. McNutt holds her PhD from the University of St. Andrews (Reformation Studies Institute), MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and BA in Religious Studies from Westmont College. She is a Fellow in the Royal Historical Society and Scholar-in-Residence at Newberry Library in Chicago. She is an award-winning professor and writer, and her most current works include Know the Theologians, The Mary We Forgot: What the Apostle to the Apostles Teaches the Church Today, and The Oxford Handbook of the Bible and the Reformation. She and her husband, are the co-founders of “McNuttshell Ministries.
Eric Targe
Eric Targe serves as Pastor for Teaching and Preaching at Park Community Church. Originally from New York, he has lived in the city of Chicago since 2009. Eric graduated with a BA in Theology from Moody Bible Institute and a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Eric also serves as an adjunct professor at the Moody Bible Institute, and is passionate about equipping the saints for gospel love, gospel life, and gospel liturgy, so that the good news of Jesus might be displayed more clearly in a bad news world.
Gregg Quiggle
Gregg Quiggle served for nearly forty years at Moody Bible Institute as the D.L. Moody Professor of Historical Theology and Dean of Study Abroad. He graduated from Wheaton College (BA, MA in Church History/Theological Studies) and Marquette University (MA in Historical Theology) before earning his PhD at Open University by focusing on Dwight Moody’s approach to urban social problems. Dr. Quiggle has written and lectured extensively on the impact of Dwight Moody and has contributed to multiple books, most recently MBI’s One Volume Seminary. He is also the author of Bread and Bibles: D.L. Moody’s Evangelism and Social Action. Now retired from teaching, he operates Quotelos Travel Service, a Christian history tour company.
Amber Thomas Reynolds
Amber Thomas Reynolds received a Ph.D. in the history of Christianity from the University of Edinburgh. Her current project focuses on the emergence and post-World War II cultural shifts in the American-evangelical mantra, “God has a plan for your life,” from its nineteenth-century emergence to its cultural evolution in the later twentieth century. The themes this encompasses are many and varied—including providence and vocation, the modern missionary movement, parachurch ministries, the conflict between fundamentalism and neo-evangelicalism, the Cold War, popular culture, youth culture, consumerism, changing women’s roles, increasing attention to social issues and race, and the ethical shift from “self-denial” to “self-fulfillment” in American culture. Additional areas of research include the global charismatic movement and single Christian women’s place in church history.
Collin Hansen
Collin Hansen serves as vice president for content and editor in chief of The Gospel Coalition where he hosts the Gospelbound podcast and writes Unseen Things, a weekly newsletter. He is the executive director of The Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics. He has written and contributed to many books, most notably Timothy Keller: His Spiritual and Intellectual Formation and Rediscover Church: Why the Body of Christ Is Essential. Collin has published with the NY Times and the Washington Post and offered commentary for numerous news agencies. He edited the forthcoming The Gospel After Christendom and The New City Catechism Devotional, among other books. He is an adjunct professor at Beeson Divinity School, where he also co-chairs the advisory board.
Mikel Del Rosario
Mikel Del Rosario is a Professor of Bible and Theology at Moody Bible Institute, and he is the host of The Apologetics Guy podcast which is a part of the Christianity Today podcast network. He earned a M.A. in Apologetics from Biola University and a Th.M. and a Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. While at Dallas Theological Seminary, Mikel served as the Cultural Engagement Manager and produces The Table podcast with Darrell Bock. He has written numerous articles for the theological journal Bibliotheca Sacra and he’s the author of Accessible Apologetics and Did Jesus Really Say He Was God?: Making Sense of His Historical Claims.
John Dickson
John Dickson is the Jean Kvamme Distinguished Professor of Biblical Studies and Public Christianity at Wheaton College. John graduated with First Class Honours from Moore Theological College and a PhD in Ancient History from Macquarie University, where he taught both New Testament and World Religions. John subsequently taught Jesus and the Gospels at the University of Sydney, as well as Christian Mission at Ridley Theological College, Melbourne. He holds the research position of Visiting Academic in the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford. An ordained Anglican clergyman, John pastored a church in Sydney for a decade. He founded Australia’s Centre for Public Christianity in 2007 and is the author of over 20 books.
