CSLI-Chicago presents
Spiritual Warfare
with Karl "KJ" Johnson and Eric Targe

In today’s post-Christian world, we tend to neglect the spiritual aspects of life. This is not only true with our non-believing neighbors, but too often true in the Church. But the Bible affirms that there is a cosmic, spiritual struggle going on daily, and that our adversary seeks to “devour” us.

What does this mean? And what does this conflict look like? Is it anything like the scenes from "The Exorcist" or "The Conjuring"? Or are we under spiritual attack whenever we encounter problems in life?

It can be confusing, and we need guide to think more clearly. Using C.S. Lewis’s famous book The Screwtape Letters, we will explore and discuss the methods and tactics that our adversary uses to disrupt our lives and our faith. Undergirded by Scripture, this course will seek to help us to live more deliberately and to become more aware of our adversary’s efforts. A study guide will be provided, but participants must acquire their own copy of The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis (any edition is fine).
