CSLI-Toronto presents a 2-day seminar

Walking With Jesus: Principles and Practices for Daily Discipleship

with Rev. Tom Schwanda

Jesus loves us so much that he has commissioned us to be his disciples. But what does that mean in our contemporary world?

Our weekend will ask two questions: what is a disciple and how can we grow and deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Friday evening will examine the nature and dynamics of being a disciple. More than defining that term we will seek to explore what it means to walk with Jesus in our daily life.

Saturday morning will focus on the challenges of being Christ’s disciples in our broken world. Jesus equips us for following him by reminding us he is always with us. As we seek to notice his presence through spiritual practices, especially cultivating attentiveness and meditation on Scripture, we gain practical insights how we can abide in Christ (John 15:1–11) and bear fruit to further reflect his teachings for those around us.

Both sessions will include spiritual exercises to guide us in applying this to our lives and assist us in walking with Jesus.

Date: Friday January 17 & Saturday January 18, 2025
Time: 7:30 pm ET on Friday | 9:00 am ET on Saturday
Location: Richmond Hill Christian Community Church | 9670 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, Canada
