C.S. Lewis Institute presents

Tour of C.S. Lewis’s Belfast & Oxford

June 20 - June 28, 2026
Registration Deadline: January 30, 2026

The 2025 tour was more than I could have ever anticipated. It was a pilgrimage of the imagination, the intellect, and spirituality. We heard lectures by Lewis scholars, reflected in small groups on how "place informs belief," and pressed into the subliminal spaces between memory and myth. Seeing Dunluce Castle from a sea cliff, reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by Giant's Causeway, or pausing beneath Magdalen's Tower all offered a strange, luminous mutualism with the main, his life, and his works.

Purpose:  To explore on-site the land, culture, and faith of C.S. Lewis, a disciple of Jesus Christ, and one of the greatest Christian writers and apologists of the 20th century, with an aim toward personal spiritual growth in the areas of discipleship and apologetics.

Tour Package:  Includes hotels, 2 Meals/Day, Guided Tour of Lewis’s Belfast, Northern Ireland, all transportation from Belfast to Oxford, and Tour of Lewis's Oxford. It also includes teaching on C.S. Lewis – his life and thought - by C.S. Lewis scholars Dr. Michael Ward, Dr. Simon Horobin, Dr. John Gillespie, and C.S. Lewis Institute Staff.

(Participants will arrange their own flights to Belfast and travel from the airport to The Leonardo Hotel. Tour ends in Oxford, where participants are free to return home or travel elsewhere.)
