Kukiri Dhambi

(Confession of Sin)

This week practice confessing your sins daily. When struggling with a recurring sin, find a trustworthy brother or sister in Christ whom you can confidentially confess your sins to. When we bring sin into the light we can receive the help from other believers in battling sin.

Sala ya Bwana

Baba Yetu uliye mbinguni,
jina lako litukuzwe;
ufalme wako ufike,
utakalo lifanyike
duniani kama mbinguni.
Utupe leo mkate wetu wa kila siku,
utusamehe makosa yetu,
kama tunavyowasamehe na sisi waliotukosea.
Usitutie katika kishawishi,
lakini utuopoe maovuni.
Kwa kuwa ufalme ni wako,
na nguvu na utukufu hata milele
Amina.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
May your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
For yours in the kingdom
and the power and the glory for ever.
Amen.
