Growing in Grace and Knowledge
The C.S Lewis Fellows Program has been really good for me. I can’t say enough about the course. There are so many different topics that are covered and it gives an in-depth knowledge of the same. I like how there are so many articles, videos, and books related to each topic all accumulated into one month. It helps me to concentrate on each topic. When I started this course, I did have a fair knowledge of the Bible, but I did not have in-depth knowledge. For example, I knew about grace and the Bible verses that are related to grace, but I did not have a thorough enough knowledge to explain grace to anyone. Through the C.S Lewis Fellows Program, I am now able to explain it in lay terms through Bible readings as well as readings from other authors who explain each topic in an easy and informative way. That is one of the major advantages of this course. There are lots of things to learn and you have to follow a systematic way of learning and keeping on track. The other thing I like about the C.S Lewis Program is the mentoring. My mentor was a great person, she taught me so many things, explained everything to me, encouraged me, disciplined me, and corrected me when I was wrong. This has helped me to learn and grow constantly. I think I like that the most. Overall, the course is one of the best things I have done and I do not regret completing it. The only regret I have is that I was not able to give it 100% because of the humongous nature of it. But since I am redoing it all again, I should be okay. I really want to understand and remember everything I am reading.
