CSLI Raleigh/Durham and the C.S. Lewis Foundation present
The Path To Reconstruction
with Jason Smith
"Deconstruction" seems to be everywhere lately. The term may be trending, but as Ecclesiastes reminds us, "there is nothing new under the sun."
The Bible itself records people of faith deconstructing, asking hard questions about whether what they've been taught lines up with what they've experienced and what they still believe, at least as far back as the book of Job. Hard questions matter. They can propel us toward a God we admit we don’t understand, or push us away from a God we no longer believe we can trust.
On April 18 at 7 pm, the C.S. Lewis Institute - RDU Chapter and the C.S. Lewis Foundation invites Jason Smith to help us explore how to respond well to experiences, events, and relationships that prompt hard questions, and how to walk alongside friends and family members who are deconstructing.
The evening program will be discussion-oriented, including a short talk and live Q&A.
