Worship Historian and Director of WorshipRyan Shelton, Ph.D., serves as Director of Worship at Truro Anglican Church. He has led congregational worship for 20 years, and he is a music educator and worship historian of British and American Protestant literature, focusing on seventeenth-century Puritanism and the poetry of John Milton who has. He received a B.S. in Music Education from Texas A&M University Commerce, an M.Div. from Bethlehem College & Seminary, and a Th.M. in Worship from Calvin Theological Seminary. Ryan and his wife, returned to the U.S. after living 5 years in the United Kingdom, where Ryan earned a Ph.D. in History from Queen’s University Belfast. He has a passion for helping congregations engage mind, heart, and body in magnifying Christ.
