
Richard Schmelzle, Founder, is a retired Chiropractor. Following graduation from Ohio Wesleyan University, Richard attended Chiropractic Colleges in Davenport, Iowa and Toronto, Canada. While in college, he became a Christian and was instrumental in establishing a Christian fellowship group. In 1966, he joined his father in practice in LeRoy, NY. He returned to Canada in 1969 when he was invited to join the Faculty of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He helped establish Christian Chiropractors of Canada, a Canadian affiliate of the Worldwide Christian Chiropractors Association. The mission of CCC is Christian Fellowship, Outreach to colleagues and Support for Chiropractic Missions, including Short Term Missions. He was President of CCC for twenty years and during that time participated in STM’s to: Peru; Hungary; Hong Kong; Korea and the Philippines. His wife and young children joined him on these missions. He is married to Laurine and they have two adult children and five grandchildren.
