
Dr. Thomas Kidd is a research professor of Church History at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MS. He has authored numerous books on the role of religion in American history, including a recent biography titled, Thomas Jefferson: A Biography of Spirit and Flesh. His articles have been published in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The Gospel Coalition. Dr. Kidd received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clemson University, and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame where he worked with leading historian of religion, George Marsden.
