Jana Harmon, Ph.D, is the Senior Fellow For Christian Apologetics for the C.S. Lewis Institute and a Teaching Fellow for C.S. Lewis Institute Atlanta. She serves on the Atlanta Advisory Board and as an Adjunct Professor of Cultural Apologetics at Biola University. Her doctoral research studied the religious conversion of atheists to Christianity looking at the perspectives and stories of 50 former Atheists. She views apologetics through a practical, evangelistic lens. She is the host of the podcast eX-skeptic for the C.S. Lewis Institute. Jana received her PhD from the University of Birmingham, England.

Jeremy Gronau is a former U.S. Army Apache helicopter pilot who served nearly a decade in the military, including a deployment to Afghanistan. After leaving the military due to severe physical injury, Jeremy pursued a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, specializing in crisis and trauma intervention. He is the founder of Warriors in Christ, a Christian counseling practice dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and individuals navigate trauma, restore relationships, and discover their God-given purpose. Jeremy is passionate about helping others experience healing, identity in Christ, and the transforming power of the gospel

Aimee Riegert, CSLI Fellow, earned bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and foreign language studies from Southern Methodist University. In addition to supporting various national security efforts in Northern Virginia, she has worked as an itinerant high school math teacher and drama coach, and has served in women’s ministries, praise teams, on the adult support team for Young Life and as a “mentor mom” for MOPS International ministries, as well as English instructor in several ESL programs in Japan. She is a graduate of the C.S. Lewis Institute Year One Fellows Program.

Christopher Mitchell
Theologian
Christopher Mitchell, Theologian, (1951 – 2014) was the third director of the Marion E. Wade Center from 1994 to 2013, and the first holder of the Marion E. Wade Chair of Christian Thought at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Mitchell was also the Consulting Editor for VII: An Anglo-American Literary Review (now VII: Journal of the Marion E. Wade Center). Prior to coming to Wheaton College he served as a missionary and pastor. He has published several articles including “C.S. Lewis and Authentic Discipleship,” Knowing and Doing (C.S. Lewis Institute, Spring 2011 Issue.) Mitchell received his M.A. from Wheaton College, and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, where his concentration was Historical Theology with a focus on Jonathan Edwards.

Kathleen completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where her academic journey laid the foundation for her career as a scientist. She holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins University and is passionate about medical research. Kathleen is also a dedicated wife and mother to a one-year-old, balancing her professional achievements with the joys of family life.

William L. "Bill" Kynes is the Senior Fellow for Pastoral Theology at the C.S. Lewis Institute, and retired Senior Pastor of Cornerstone, an Evangelical Free Church, in Annandale, VA, where he served from 1986 - 2022. He majored in Philosophy at the University of Florida, where he also played quarterback and was later inducted into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, receiving an MA in theology. He received an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, before returning to England for a PhD in New Testament from Cambridge University.

James R. Edwards, Jr., is the founder and CEO of ELITE Strategic Services, LLC, and consults on intellectual property, antitrust, health, and transportation policy. He plays leadership, strategic, and advisory roles on IP, particularly patents. He’s spoken at conferences and seminars around the country, at Capitol Hill briefings and Washington events. Edwards was selected as a 1998 Lincoln Fellow of the Claremont Institute and was awarded an Eagle Award in 2017 by Eagle Forum Education & Legal Defense Fund. Barbara Bradley Hagerty, is a New York Times best-selling author and contributing editor to the Atlantic. She authored Fingerprints of God: The Search for the Science of Spirituality (May 2009), and most recently Life Reimagined: The Science, Art, and Opportunity of Midlife (March 2016.) Barbara was a correspondent for NPR for 18 years, most recently covering religion. She was awarded the American Women in Radio and Television Award twice for her religion reporting, as well as the National Headliners Award, and the Religion Newswriters Association Award. She earned a master’s degree in legal studies from Yale Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College.

Koukl received an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology, and also an M.A. in Christian apologetics from Simon Greenleaf School of Law. He has authored or co-authored several books including The Story of Reality: How the World Began, How It Ends and Everything Important that Happens in Between and Tactics.
