Doug Gropp
Doug Gropp, Professor, formerly a professor of old testament at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, TX. He is a Hebrew and Aramaic specialist and was part of the International Team of Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls, publishing a volume of Aramaic legal papyri in the official publication series, Discoveries in the Judaean Desert. He received his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary and PhD from Harvard University. He was part of the graduate program for department of Semitics at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at Johns Hopkins in Near Eastern Studies, and has taught Classical Ethiopic to his peers at the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
