Alistair Begg
Pastor
Alistair Begg, Pastor, has been the senior pastor of Parkside Church in Cleveland, OH since 1983. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, he’s a graduate of The London School of Theology, and was also educated at Trent University and Westminster Seminary. In addition to Sunday services at Parkside, Alistair can be heard daily on the Truth For Life radio program. He is the author of several books including, The Hand of God, Made For His Pleasure: Ten Benchmarks of a Vital Faith, Pray Big: Learn to Pray Like an Apostle and Pathway to Freedom: How God’s Law Guides Our Lives.

Alister McGrath

Professor

Alister McGrath serves as Senior Research Fellow at the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion at Oxford. He has also served as the Senior Research Fellow at Harris Manchester College in Oxford, the President of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and associate priest in Cotswolds for a group of village parishes (Church of England.) McGrath’s best known books include The Twilight of Atheism, The Dawkins Delusion?, Dawkins’ God: Genes, Memes, and the Meaning of Life, A Scientific Theology and his most recent, Coming to Faith Through Dawkins: 12 Essays on the Pathway from New Atheism to Christianity, co-authored with Denis Alexander. He received his MA and DPhil from Oxford University.

James M. Houston is a co-founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute.  From its beginning, Jim has served as a Senior Fellow of the Institute, lecturing at CSLI events over the past four decades. He received his Bachelor of Science and M.A. degrees from the University of Edinburgh and a D. Phil. from Oxford University.  He was a University Lecturer at Oxford from 1947 – 1971 where he taught cultural and historical geography.  While teaching at Oxford, he met C.S. Lewis and participated in a regular Bible study with him for six years. He is known as one of the “founding fathers” of Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia where he has served as the first Principal, Chancellor and Professor of Spiritual Theology.
