Gary M. Burge

Gary M. Burge, Professor, Gary M. Burge is an American author and professor. He is a New Testament scholar at Calvin Theological Seminary. He earned his Ph.D., from Aberdeen University, Scotland, was a professor of New Testament in the Department of Theology at Wheaton College and Graduate School. Gary is ordained in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and is a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats and churches. He also leads faculty development workshops at colleges and seminaries based on his 2015 book, Mapping Your Academic Career. He is also deeply invested in the Middle East and its churches from Iraq to Egypt and travels there annually.
