Dallas Willard

Dallas Willard, (1935 – 2013) was a Professor in the School of Philosophy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles from 1965 to 2012. He was Director of the School of Philosophy from 1982-1985. He also taught at the University of Wisconsin (Madison, 1960-1965), and held visiting appointments at UCLA (1969) and the University of Colorado (1984).  He received his Ph.D. in 1964 from Baylor University and the University of Wisconsin with a Major in Philosophy. Renovation of the Heart was published in May 2002, and received Christianity Today's 2003 Book Award in the category of Spirituality. The Divine Conspiracy was released in 1998 and selected Christianity Today's Book of the Year for 1999.

Richard Foster
Theologian
Richard Foster, is a Christian theologian and author. He is founder of Renovaré (a Christian nonprofit established in1988 to help people in becoming more like Jesus) and served as its president until 2008; he continues to serve in an advisory role. Foster has been a professor at Friends University and pastor of Evangelical Friends churches. He earned his Doctor of Pastoral Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and received an honorary doctorate from Houghton College. He is possibly best known for his 1978 book Celebration of Discipline, which sold over one million copies. It was named by Christianity Today as one of the top ten books of the 20^th century.

George and Pat, his wife, live in Wichita, Kansas, where he is Pastor of Music and Worship Arts at Central Community Church.

James M. Houston, Professor, is a co-founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute.  From its beginning, Jim has served as a Senior Fellow of the Institute, lecturing at CSLI events over the past four decades. He received his Bachelor of Science and M.A. degrees from the University of Edinburgh and a D. Phil. from Oxford University.  He was a University Lecturer at Oxford from 1947 – 1971 where he taught cultural and historical geography.  While teaching at Oxford, he met C.S. Lewis and participated in a regular Bible study with him for six years. He is known as one of the “founding fathers” of Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia where he has served as the first Principal, Chancellor and Professor of Spiritual Theology.

N.T. Wright, is an English New Testament scholar, Pauline theologian and Anglican bishop. He was the Bishop of Durham from 2003 to 2010. Research Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at St Mary's College in the University of St Andrews in Scotland until 2019, he became a senior research fellow at Wycliffe Hall at the University of Oxford. His publications include The Day the Revolution Began: Reconsidering the Meaning of Jesus's Crucifixion (2016), Simply Christian: Why Christianity Makes Sense (2010), Justification: God's Plan & Paul's Vision (2009), The Resurrection of the Son of God (2003), the five-part Christian Origins and the Questions of God series, and a series of popular commentaries on the books of the New Testament.
