Mary Pope entered the world of voiceover with a desire to use her voice for Kingdom Work. She feels blessed to be doing just that for the C.S. Lewis Institute. Her husband of almost 40 years feels blessed she has found an outlet for all those words (smile!). Mary and Ken are empty-nesters living in Arlington, VA.

Randy Alcorn

Randy Alcorn, Author, is the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching biblical truth. He is also a New York Times bestselling author who has written over fifty books including Courageous, Heaven, The Treasure Principle, and the Gold Medallion winner Safely Home. His books have been translated into over seventy languages and have sold over eleven million copies. Randy attended Western Seminary and received both an M.A. and Th.B. from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, OR. He also taught on the part-time faculties of Western Seminary and Multnomah University.

Richard Baxter, (1615 – 1691) served as an Anglican priest in England, during days of deep unrest, a civil war, and great political instability. His writings and sermons call Christians to holy living, even if it is costly. He coined the term “Mere Christianity” which C.S. Lewis adopted for his classic work.

Stephen Eyre

Stephen Eyre is the Cincinnati City Director for the C.S. Lewis Institute. He is also the Minister of Congregational Development at Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church as well as the Executive for Ministry Support for the 40 Day Prayer Covenant. Stephen is the author of many books and Bible study guides such as Christian Beliefs (InterVarsity Press), Ordinary People Extraordinary God: 17 Personal Stories of Lives Transformed by the Love of God (High Ridge Books), Patience: The Benefits of Waiting (Zondervan), and Spiritual Disciplines (Zondervan). He graduated from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis Missouri.

Kevin Offner, has been on staff with InterVarsity for 31 years, serving students in New England and now the metro Washington DC area. He currently oversees faculty and graduate student ministry on 4 campuses in Washington, DC. Kevin is interested in orthodox Christian theology across a wide spectrum of traditions, seeking agreement without compromise.

Richard Foster

Richard Foster is a Christian theologian and author. He is founder of Renovaré (a Christian nonprofit established in1988 to help people in becoming more like Jesus) and served as its president until 2008; he continues to serve in an advisory role. Foster has been a professor at Friends University and pastor of Evangelical Friends churches. He earned his Doctor of Pastoral Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and received an honorary doctorate from Houghton College. He is possibly best known for his 1978 book Celebration of Discipline, which sold over one million copies. It was named by Christianity Today as one of the top ten books of the 20^th century.

Thomas Howard, a convert to Roman Catholicism, is Professor Emeritus of English at St. John's Seminary and previously an English professor who taught at Gordon College in Massachusetts. He is a highly acclaimed writer and scholar, noted for his studies of Inklings, C.S. Lewis and Charles Williams as well as books including Christ the Tiger (1967), Chance or the Dance? (1969), Hallowed be This House (1976), Evangelical is Not Enough (1984), If Your Mind Wanders at Mass (1995), On Being Catholic (1997), and Dove Descending (2006.) Howard earned his PhD from NYU where his dissertation was on C.S. Lewis’s friend, Charles Williams. A lifelong Lewis scholar, Howard visited Lewis at the Kilns in 1961.
