Augustine’s Greatness

The first of four lectures is entitled Augustine’s Greatness. In this lecture he entitled, “Augustine’s City of God.” According to Prof. Malik, a more fitting title or subtitle would be “A few reflections about ourselves and our age induced by Augustine’s City of God.” The book was written over a period of 13 years during which Augustine was a participant in some of the most momentous events in the history of western civilization—namely, the decline of the Roman Empire. As suggested by the subtitle, Malik offers insights and its relevance for today.

This is a Legacy Audio recording drawn from a collection of free audio resources over the last 30+ years featuring themes which are still relevant today. Due to the archival nature of the recordings, some of the audio content may not be up to today's digital standards, but nonetheless, the content is still applicable.
