From Doubt to Confidence: A Journey of Faith and Transformation

In 2019, I found myself searching for answers to figure out faith. I was brought up in a faith-based community, but over the years I discovered that there are many different influences and interpretations of what and how to believe. One day on this journey, I was sitting in a coffee shop reading Screwtape Letters and overheard two people talking about their faith and the challenges they faced. Intrigued by their honesty with each other, I asked if I could join in or at least buy them a coffee sometime to learn more and maybe help resolve my confusion. They graciously accepted my offer. It turns out they were Fellows of the CS Lewis Program. After we met, I applied to the Fellows Program and since then my faith has been established on the firm grounding of core knowledge and wisdom on how to understand what it is we believe. My spiritual disciplines have been transformed and I can feel the impact they're making on my thinking and decision-making. I now walk with quiet confidence and fearless humility inspired by the Biblical teaching on the course. I can now see why I was so confused because I had forgotten to ask, seek, and knock.
