Mentoring for Impact: Reflections on Four Years of Growth and Lasting Outcomes
Some threads are common in my mentoring experience over the last 4 years and some features are unique to 2019-20. The common feature is the high level of commitment and ability demonstrated by those with whom I was privileged to develop a mentoring relationship. The volume of reading and the high quality of written responses produced are striking. Also, the outcomes, one mentee from this year is now in full-time pastoral work in Canada the other is engaging intentionally with his own family, children, and grandchildren whom I had the pleasure of meeting. These outcomes, not just international but inter-generational are worth contemplation in terms of their reach.
