Series: The Bible and the American Founders

Daniel Dreisbach discusses the impact of the Bible and its Christian ideas and ideals in shaping the American political experiment, and the rights and duties of citizens – many of which we take for granted today. Ignoring or being unaware of the Bible’s influence on the Founders, as Dreisbach suggests many historians and citizens do, misses important insights about America’s form of democracy and of the concept of Providential self-government on which America is built.

A Q&A session follows his presentation to allow attendees to dig deeper into this fascinating topic, especially in light of the current cultural attack upon the Christian principles that shaped our Nation.
