For this month, try this roleplaying game together as a family, to discover the difference between acting in pride and acting in humility. Write several scenarios down on pieces of paper, dealing with various situations. Have one person in the family act out handling the situation in a courteous fashion, and another in an unmannerly, rude way. Discuss the difference between the two approaches, and link how manners demonstrate humility and rudeness pride in our social activities. Try and extend this application to having proper spiritual manners as well, how we behave respectfully toward God and fellow believers, especially in our times of corporate worship.
