Purpose: To explore on-site the land, culture, geography, and archaeology of the biblical world in Israel with an aim toward personal spiritual growth in the areas of biblical study and discipleship.  This will be a study tour and will provide enriching commentary and teaching on biblical events and culture as we see first-hand the history, beauty and ruggedness of Israel where our Lord Jesus lived, died and rose again.

Study Program Package:  Israel Land Program includes lodging, 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner), taxes, tips, entrance fees, study materials, and guided tour of the land of Israel by world-class biblical backgrounds scholar and writer, Dr. Jim Martin, and C.S. Lewis staff.  Transportation throughout the 13 days beginning at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv will be provided by bus throughout the program.

Flights Not included:  Participants will arrange their own flights to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.  Tour ends at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv where participants are free to return home, or travel elsewhere.

Also not included:  personal items, lunches, beverages at meals (with the exception of juice, tea and coffee at breakfast), medical and travel insurance; fees due to delays, cancellations, emergencies or any unforeseen expense outside of this program.

Arrival and Departure:  Choose flight from place of your choosing with the goal to arrive in Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport no later than 3 pm in the afternoon on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Some travelers may prefer to arrive earlier and spend a few days in Israel getting over jetlag.

Either way, the program will begin at Ben Gurion airport where a bus will be provided at 5:30 pm to transfer all study program participants to the first hotel in Jericho on October 8, 2023

The tour will end on Friday, October 20 which will allow participants to schedule a return flight from Ben Gurion that evening.  Most flights to the U.S. leave around 11 pm or 1 am the following morning.

*One of the attractions of Israel is its blend of cultures, religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) and histories. This diverse landscape makes the scheduling of itineraries more complex.  Schedules, housing and itinerary are subject to change without notice due to the devaluation of the dollar and political uncertainties.   This itinerary is based on the best possible use of time management, keeping in mind the complexities of Jerusalem traffic, the current political climate, and opening hours as regards to Jewish, Christian and Muslim holidays.
