CSLI Fellows Programs
Since 1999, the Fellows program has helped transform the lives of more than five thousand people and has been commended by pastors for the dynamic impact it has had on their church.
Do you desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers?
Do you want to experience the power of a transformed life?
Howard Hendricks, Late Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary, once wrote “When a person makes a confession of faith and is never
taken through a formal discipleship process, there is little hope of seeing genuine spiritual transformation.” The Fellows Program is designed to give you a foundation for ongoing spiritual growth. Gail Thompson, a Christian counselor and Fellows Program alumna, calls it “the single most effective resource I’ve experienced in my 34 years of ministry.”
YEAR ONE FELLOWS PROGRAM
Year One Program
The C.S. Lewis Institute Fellows Program offers a year of intensive discipleship that leads to significant life-change. Unlike many discipleship programs, the Fellows program focuses on discipleship of both heart and mind. It involves Bible Study, classic readings, lectures, group processing, personal spiritual mentoring and accountability – all in the context of a small group of like-minded believers. This year-long program is designed for those who want to live as fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ and make an impact for Him in the world.
The program is twelve months in length and has two phases.Year One Fellows: Read More
YEAR TWO FELLOWS PROGRAMS
After completing the Year One Program fellows may apply for a Year Two Program that will build on Year One. Two options are available, a Year 2 Fellows Program and a new program Life, Faith, and Writings of C.S. Lewis. Both of these are open to any graduate of the Year One Fellows Program. Cities may choose to offer one or both programs and alternate availability in any given year, check your local city for availability.
Year Two Program
Year Two will build on Year One by providing additional insights and resources that will enable us to go deeper in order to run with endurance the race set before us and bear fruit for God. We will do this by exploring the holiness of God, the depth of our sin, and the hindrances to our spiritual growth (the world, the flesh and the devil). We will also discover how to appropriate God’s grace more fully, be filled with the Holy Spirit, bear the fruit of the Spirit, resist the devil and engage the world for Christ in mission. This second year of the program, then, offers the opportunity to go “further up and further in”—in the famous words of Aslan to the children in C.S. Lewis’ The Last Battle.
