FOUNDATION FOR CHURCH RENEWAL
Richard Lovelace provides his thoughts on the state of the church renewal movement in the United States and throughout the world at the end of the 20th century. In addition, he provides a brief history of ecumenical movements, evangelicalism, and the charismatic movement in the mid 20th century.

Richard Lovelace, (1931 – 2020) was professor emeritus of church history at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and the author of Dynamics of a Spiritual Life, Homosexuality and the Church and The American Pietism of Cotton Mather. Lovelace was primarily interested in interested in the subject of spiritual awakening, revival, and renewal in the Church. He has also authored numerous articles in addition to his books. He received his ThD from Princeton Theological Seminary.
