Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty...

John Wesley

John Wesley, Theologian, was an Anglican clergyman and evangelist, and founder, with his brother Charles, of the Methodist movement in the Church of England. He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University in 1724 and was ordained a priest in 1728. He preached widely in England and the American colonies and trained many lay ministers and itinerant preachers in his reforms to the Anglican tradition. His of many powerful sermons and journal entries are still widely read today.
