Kevin DeYoung
Theologian
Kevin DeYoung, is a theologian and author. He serves as the senior pastor at Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, NC. He is also a member of The Gospel Coalition Council and blogs for the ministry, and is an assistant professor of systematic theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Kevin received his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and completed his PhD at the University of Leicester. He has authored several books including Just Do Something: A Liberating Approach to Finding God’s Will.

David B. Calhoun, (1937-2021) was Professor Emeritus of Church History at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  A minister of the Presbyterian Church in America, he has taught at Covenant College, Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International University), and Jamaica Bible College (where he was also principal).  Calhoun has served with Ministries in Action in the West Indies and in Europe and as dean of the Iona Centres for Theological Study.  He was a board member (and for some years president) of Presbyterian Mission International, a mission board that assists nationals who are Covenant Seminary graduates to return to their homelands for ministry.

Will Kynes
Professor
Will Kynes, is the Associate Professor at Howard College of Arts and Sciences’ Biblical and Religious Studies program, Samford University. He received his Masters in literature at the University of St. Andrews, his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge, and taught at the University of Oxford. He has an M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored books including My Psalm Has Turned into Weeping: Job’s Dialogue with the Psalms and An Obituary for “Wisdom Literature”: The Birth, Death, and Intertextual Reintegration of a Biblical Corpus. He has also edited several collections of essays, including The Oxford Handbook of Wisdom and Wisdom Literature, and published a number of scholarly articles and essays.

Author
Joe Dallas, has a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Vision University, San Diego, CA and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is also the author of the daily blog Joe Dallas Online in addition to authoring six books on human sexuality from the Christian perspective. He is a contributing writer for The Christian Research Journal, and his articles have appeared in Christianity Today,(cover story June 1993) The Journal of Christian Healing and The Southern California Christian Times. For over three years Joe taught and conducted the nationally recognized Every Man’s Battle 5-Day conference as the originating Program Director, and from 1991 to 1993, he served as the President of Exodus International.

William L. "Bill" Kynes is the Senior Fellow for Pastoral Theology at the C.S. Lewis Institute, and retired Senior Pastor of Cornerstone, an Evangelical Free Church, in Annandale, VA, where he served from 1986 - 2022. He majored in Philosophy at the University of Florida, where he also played quarterback and was later inducted into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, receiving an MA in theology. He received an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, before returning to England for a PhD in New Testament from Cambridge University.

J.M. Njoroge
SpeakerJ.M. Njoroge is an accomplished apologist and writer. He graduated from Talbot School of Theology with a master’s degree in philosophy, a master’s degree in New Testament studies and a ThM. Njoroge earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Georgia and was the host of the radio program Let My People Think. He is also known for his work on the Ufalme Experience, a ten-session journey through the Lord’s Prayer. Njoroge’s passion is to help clear the fog between the academy and the church by making the case for the credibility of the gospel of Jesus Christ, in both a winsome and persuasive manner.

Kevin J. Vanhoozer is the Research Professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Systematic Theology and the Journal of Theological Interpretation. He earned his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Previously, he served as Blanchard Professor of Theology at Wheaton College and as Senior Lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at New College, University of Edinburgh. He has edited multiple books, including The Cambridge Companion to Postmodern Theology and Dictionary for Theological Interpretation of the Bible. He is the author of many books, most notably, Is There a Meaning in this Text? and The Drama of Doctrine: A Canonical-Linguistic Approach to Christian Theology.
