Lyle W. Dorsett - Biography
Lyle W. Dorsett has been the Billy Graham Professor of Evangelism at Beeson Divinity School since 2005, and teaches courses in evangelism, spiritual formation and church history. He also serves as the pastor of Christ the King Anglican Church. He has published 20 books, including several Christian biographies and three works on C. S. Lewis. His most recent book is Serving God and Country: United States Military Chaplains in World War II. He is married to Mary Hayes Dorsett. Together they founded Christ the King Anglican Church in Birmingham, Alabama. They have two children and four grandchildren.
Lyle Dorsett
Lyle Dorsett holds the Billy Graham Chair of Evangelism at Beeson Divinity School in Samford University. He taught courses in evangelism, spiritual formation and church history. He also serves as the pastor of Christ the King Anglican Church in Homewood, Alabama. Lyle received his PhD in American history and has published numerous books, including several Christian biographies and three works on C. S. Lewis.
