Randy Newman
Senior Fellow for Apologetics and Evangelism, CSLI
Randy Newman (1956-2024) was the Senior Fellow for Apologetics and Evangelism at the C.S. Lewis Institute. He taught at several evangelical seminaries. After serving for over 30 years with Campus Crusade for Christ, he established Connection Points, a ministry to help Christians engage people’s hearts the way Jesus did. He has written seven books, Questioning Evangelism, Corner Conversations, Bringing the Gospel Home, Engaging with Jewish People, Unlikely Converts: Improbable Stories of Faith and What They Teach Us About Evangelism, Mere Evangelism. and his most recent, Questioning Faith: Indirect Journeys of Belief through Terrains of Doubt. Randy has also written numerous articles about evangelism and other ways our lives intertwine with God’s creation. He earned his MDiv and PhD in Intercultural Studies from Trinity International University. Randy went home to be with the Lord in May 2024.

Robbie Symons, is the founding Pastor of Hope Bible Church Oakville, ON, where he continues to serve as Sr. Pastor. Pastor Symon’s greatest passion is to see Jesus Christ glorified as people realize their potential only through His amazing power. Robbie is the voice of Live in the Light, a broadcast series which went on air in 2014. The Live in Light Bible teaching ministry is dedicated to faithfully preaching God’s Word in order to fulfill the Great Commission and call of Jesus Christ to “go and make disciples of all nations”.

He is the Associate Pastor at Immanuel Nashville, the Canon Theologian for the Anglican Church in North America, and is a Fellow at the Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics. He has authored more than ten books, most notably One With My Lord, Is God Anti-Gay?, and, What God Has to Say About Our Bodies, and he is the co-host of the podcast You’re Not Crazy: Gospel Sanity for Young Pastors.

Raymond Hylton, is the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Evanston, IL. He was born in Jamaica and migrated to the United States in 1981 to pursue education. He earned a BA in Pastor Ministry from Taylor University, and MA in Pastoral Leadership from Huntington University, a MDiv from Duke University Divinity School, and a DMin from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Judith, have three grown children, and together they've co-authored the book 5 Disciplines of a Growing Marriage: Falling in Love Again.

Dorothy Sayers, Author, (1893–1957) was an English crime writer and poet. She was also a student of classical and modern languages. In 1915, she became one of the first women to get a degree from Oxford. She completed her MA in 1920. She is best known for her mysteries, a series of novels and short stories set between the First and Second World Wars. During later years, Sayers turned to religious writing which included The Mind of the Maker and Creed or Chaos. She wrote many educational and religious essays including The Lost Tools of Learning. Sayer’s philosophy about her life she expressed in these words: "The only Christian work is good work, well done".

Charles Stanley, is Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, after serving as senior pastor for 51 years. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1977, Stanley founded In Touch Ministries with the mission to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. Jerry White, Author, Jerry White serves with The Navigators as President Emeritus and Chairman of the U.S. Board of Directors. Trained in the field of astronautics, he taught at the Air Force Academy and worked in various positions in the American space program. He earned his Ph.D. in Astronautics from Purdue University in 1970. He served 13 1/2 years active duty with the Air Force, 24 years in the reserves, and retired from the Air Force Reserves in 1997 as a Major General. Jerry has authored several books, including Honesty, Morality & Conscience and Dangers Men Face, Making Peace with Reality: Ordering Your Life In A Chaotic World and co-authored a nationally recognized textbook on astrodynamics.

Robert Tamasy, is a veteran journalist, former newspaper editor and magazine editor. Tamasy is Vice President of Communications for Leaders Legacy, Inc. He holds a Master's degree in Journalism and served as an adjunct professor for 6 years. Bob has written, co-authored and edited more than 15 books, these include, Marketplace Ambassadors, Business At Its Best: Timeless Wisdom from Proverbs for Today’s Workplace, Tufting Legacies, The Heart of Mentoring and Pursuing Life With a Shepherd’s Heart. A weekly business meditation he edits, Monday Manna, is translated into more than 20 languages and sent via email around the world by CBMC International.
